ACELL FOAM: An open cell mineral foam that can be formulated with variable density and cell size depending on required performance and end use. This structural foam does not have plastic memory making it ideal for use in the ACELL moulding process where it is formed under low pressure enabling the creation of three- dimensional surfaces. ACELL foam has exceptional acoustic and blast absorption properties and other materials such as graphite can be integrated giving it a wide range of possible uses.
ACELL NON-COMBUSTIBLE FOAM: Certified as a non-combustible material according to IMO FTP Code 2010, Part 1, this lightweight foam (density 350kg/m3) provides a versatile base material for use on its own or integrated with other materials. It can be finished with ACELL’S Moulding Compound, high pressure laminates or other surface foils to create a finished decorative panel, is easy to work with and creates minimal dust when cut.
ACELL NON-COMBUSTIBLE ADHESIVE: Certified as a non-combustible material according to IMO FTP Code 2010, Part 1 and complies with IMO FTP Code 2010, Part 5 for low flame spread. This adhesive is ideally suited to laminating surface finishes to ACELL’s non-combustible foam. The open cell structure of the foam enables both a chemical and mechanical bond creating a truly monolithic sandwich panel that will not delaminate.
ACELL MOULDING COMPOUND (AMC): A non-combustible phenolic prepreg that overcomes many of the limitations of SMC. Various reinforcements such as glass, carbon, aramid etc. can be utilised to provide required strength and any shape, texture or colour can be achieved when used in ACELL Moulding Processes.
FIRECELL: A condensed aerosol fire extinguishing compound in the form of a dry paste that can suppress all types of fire without water or causing damage to property. The paste mixture is non-toxic and is not harmful to people in the area at the time of discharge.
ACELL ADDITIVES: Non-halogenated fire retardants for resin systems.
ACELL COATINGS: Coatings to transform the performance of metal when subjected to high temperatures/fire.
